Language unity is the key to communication. Everything that is inside a Montessori is also material for vocabulary development. The Montessori educator does not miss an opportunity to help the child to enrich his expression.
It consists of :
- pre-writing and pre-reading activities for oral expression (my news, stories, songs, the question game,…), for vocabulary enrichment (sorted cards,…), for indirect preparation for writing and reading (I see something with my little eye), and for direct preparation for writing and reading (metal inlays, embossed letters and mobile alphabet).
