“Le maitre est l`enfant” – Cinedoc Greece presents the excellent French documentary by Alexandre Mourot entitled “Teacher is the Child”, filmed in a Montessori classroom for children from three to six years old. In the classroom of Christian Maceral, in the oldest Montessori school in France, the director stayed for a whole year and filmed the daily life of the “Montessorian” child. The result of his work is an initiation and a hymn to the pedagogy of Maria Montessori.
