I was born in Piraeus in 1972. I grew up in a family that gave me a lot of love and many opportunities and experiences for development. Growing up in Australia, my mother passed on to me a different view of things. My father, due to his profession, gave me the opportunity to travel and live for a long time in Japan. So experientially I learned to respect and accept diversity.

I studied Business Administration and worked for 20 years in the Shipping sector.

A turning point in my life was the arrival of my children. I am a mother of two girls aged 15 and 17.

The love and responsibility towards the person I brought into life made me start a great struggle to search for information. I say struggle because unfortunately no one prepares us for the most important role we will play in life, the role of parent.  The advice of those around me about how and how much I should hug, sleep, feed did not cover me.   I had to find my own way and way.
So I started a parenting school, attended evolutionary psychology courses at the Open University of Athens, did the “Effective Parent Training” by Gordon Hellas, and participated in seminars, speeches, lectures related to children.

Theory, instinct but above all my daily contact with children became my guide in the role of mother.

When looking for preschool education for my children, I chose a kindergarten that applied the Montessori method.   I was enchanted by philosophy! After many years, and seeing the impact that Montessori education had on my children, I decided to make a big turn in my life. I left my shipping career and opened my own Montessori school.

For me the Montessori method is:

Love and respect for man in the purest and most authentic period of his life.

Trust in human nature, instinct and the child’s need to learn.

What I would like to convey to every child who will share this journey with us is :

“I accept you as you are, I understand your needs, I know you are thirsty to learn so I will give you the best I have. I will let you work it out, create, evolve on your own. Because I trust you. I want you to be better than me, because I want to be proud of you!”
