I studied Kindergarten.
I did my internship in 1998 at the Montessori Kindergarten of Mrs. “Maria Mavromati”, in the area of Lycabettus.
There I came into contact with Montessori pedagogy for the first time and I was taught respect for the developmental needs of children, observation and how much the environment contributes to the cultivation of the child.
After I got my degree, I started working at the Hill School in Plaka, where I worked in the Kindergarten until 2008. My experience at the Hill School was valuable, through the collaboration with more experienced educators and I participated in many school activities of younger and older children.
In 2010-2012 I studied and I obtained the degree of Education in the Montessori pedagogical approach for children aged 3-6 years from the Montessori laboratory in collaboration with Montessori Internationale (AMI).
After I finished my Montessori education, I became the mother of a boy who is now 11 years old. Finishing my Montessori education, my teacher suggested that I undertake the parallel support of a boy who was studying at the Montessori station ‘First Steps’. Later I worked there as a teacher for the next 8 years.
I believe in the philosophy of Montessorian pedagogy and agree that a child’s life blossoms through school experiences and work, the completion of which brings joy and happiness to the child. Close contact with children brings out the best in us.
