I was born and raised in Athens. I studied at the Hellenic Open
University, in the Administration of Businesses and Organizations.
For 20 years I worked in large companies in the Ophthalmology
branch, undertaking administrative activities and
responsible for secretarial support, while simultaneously managing the
technical department. My career path helped me to develop
skills in managing teams and improving efficiency.
At the same time, I participated in seminars related to areas such as
sales, marketing and interpersonal relations, gaining valuable
knowledge and experience in communication and strategic thinking.
The birth of my daughter made me wonder how I can
support her to become a independent and happy person.
Thus, I discovered the philosophy of Maria Montessori. My daughter
graduated from Primary School following this method.
September 2019 was a defining moment in my
professional path. Joining the Montessori Way of
Life team has given me the opportunity to continue to learn and grow,
both personally and as a mother by incorporating principles that promote
respect, support, empathy and the development of each person’s
independence.
