From a very young age, even from elementary school, I understood that I wanted to work
with education. As I grew up I realized that this suits me and represents me.

I graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During my studies I gave private English lessons to primary and secondary school children. When I finished my studies I attended the seminars
”A creative approach to exam preparation”, ”Teaching children with Autism, Aspergers and ADHD”, ”Fresh ideas for teaching the four language skills to EFL learners: Reading and Listening”, ”Fresh ideas for teaching the four language skills to EFL learners: Writing and Speaking”, ”Classroom behavior management: Promoting Positive Behaviour” and the nine months training program “Special Education and promotion of mental health in the school environment” at the “University of Western Attica” of the training and lifelong learning center.

What I admired in the Montessori approach is the autonomy and independence of the children, the respect for diversity, the discipline without coercion and punishment, the infinite sensory stimuli, the initiative, the contact with nature, the cultivation of order, the concentration and the love of learning. Children have a leading role in their education. They feel satisfaction that comes from the freedom to decide and choose for themselves what their educational path will be.

It is heartwarming to see the pride and confidence with which they present their achievements.

As an educator my main concern is to contribute constructively and creatively to their successes and achievements
