For eight years I have been leading parent groups and working closely with families, supporting their needs with practical guidance grounded in Montessori philosophy and contemporary pedagogy.

What they said about us
I joined the Parent School at Montessori Way of Life shortly before my son started nursery and completed the cycle with his graduation from kindergarten. Our weekly meetings were always impeccably organised, with themes that were truly essential at every stage of my child's development, and often the discussion started from situations we parents brought from home. The whole group bonded very quickly and we all felt comfortable speaking freely and honestly about the challenges of parenthood and the difficulties we faced with our children, which helped our wellbeing immensely. The advice from Maria and the rest of the team was always practical, direct and effective, and the approach to varied topics was multifaceted yet tailored to each family's needs and circumstances. Maria, excellent in her role, won us over from the first meeting and the three years we spent with her were full of love for children and parents, inexhaustible humour, respect and understanding towards and from the whole group. I wholeheartedly recommend the Parent School; it is something I will miss greatly in the next stage of primary school.
Anastasia, Jason's mom
It is hard to fit three years into one paragraph. I started the school expecting to learn some principles about my child's developmental stages—nothing more. For three years the school became a space of decompressing, understanding, learning, exchanging views with people who shared the same questions as I did, demystifying and calm. With Maria Choreva as a guide—an exceptional educator to whom I entrusted the most precious part of myself, my child, and my deepest anxieties about raising them—and with other parents who were strangers at first and with whom we ended up sharing thoughts, fears, joys, concerns and moments of happiness, this journey made me more mature and wiser, and taught me the most important lesson on the exciting journey of parenthood: to trust my child, to follow them while leading and setting boundaries, to instil confidence by giving them initiative, to accept them. I believe the greatest gift I received was learning to accept my child not as I expected them to be, not as the idealised image I had in my mind, but as they truly are, with all their wonderful sides and weaknesses. For that I will always be grateful to Ms Choreva for her effort to help us understand and unconditionally accept our children. As she would often explain, the first and most important part of our role as parents is unconditional acceptance—something I thought was obvious, but through the school I realised how difficult it is, and with her persistent guidance I moved closer to that goal.
Myrto, Nelly's mom
I started the Parent School thinking it would be seminars to help us raise our children. Quickly I realised it was much more: not a seminar format, but rich information that helped us understand our children better, practical advice and ways to handle situations—often tailored to each case separately. I felt comfortable discussing anything that concerned my child. It was deeply relieving to realise through conversation that you are not alone with these difficulties, worries, fears and insecurities. It was also a welcome break from childcare—precious time to recharge. After a few months I felt at Parent School as if I were out for coffee with friends. Without noticing it we formed a very strong bond that still holds today.
